SCP WW : Then will the stock price drop tomorrow?
unfilteredtruthsOP SCP WW: No one knows haha. I don't know how other investors think. Some may think it's good, since the business itself is profiting (net loss incurred by associated companies. But those who simply look at numbers will think a fall in net profit is bad.
104152658 : The fall in net profit is due to drop in profit attributable to associates and joint ventures
104152658 unfilteredtruthsOP: Agreed. A deeper look would actually reveal beer and non-alcohol sales are picking up, which are their core business segments
Rumpole : Agreed. The core business is recovering. Depends on how it compares with expectations though. Looking at the depressed share price, my guess is expectations are low and therefore, ThaiBev share price should look positive today, unless market is distracted by PPI and CPI results due out starting tonight. Just my initial thought.
104152658 Rumpole: Your prediction was spot on
Let's hope CPI and PPI for April are within expectations. That'll be even more good news
Rumpole 104152658: I hope so too! Have added some S-REITs yesterday. At current depressed REIT prices, the risk-reward ratio quite favourable.
