sell puts

hello, need some guidance! if we sell puts, do we reslly need the 100 shares capital worth inside the trading account before we start the trade ie. if sell puts on Amazon, do I need to have the 100 shares x current stock price equivalent before I start trading in Moomoo? thank you!!
