I think it is indeed a good news but rather uncertain to know whether this trend would last on long-term basis. The allegation of superconductor has been being crossed-checked by various labs in the world but it is still heavily arguable. It seems that the yesterday's shooting was caused - partly or mainly - by the result of simulation by LBNL which indicate some positive perspective. However, there are some criticisms against LBNL report regarding its accuracy.
