“I wish to have new hearing aids”
Trisha, 17, Kabuki Syndrome
17-year-old Trisha is a happy and adventurous girl who loves the great outdoors. Unfortunately, due to her diagnosis of Kabuki syndrome, her hearing is severely affected. And as she was limited in her activities as her old hearing aids had malfunctioned. With the generousity of MooMoo, we were able to secure a new pair for her so she could hear clearly. ![]()
Ahead of her hearing aid fitting appointment, she received countdown cards and gifts such as FunkoPop figurine, keychains and personalized name stickers from her favourite anime series, Demon Slayer, to decorate her hearing aids.
On wish day, her new hearing aids arrived with a surprise delivery of balloons in her favourite colour. Trisha was overjoyed to receive her new, customised hearing aids and could not wait to decorate them with rhinestones and stickers.
Granting wishes like Trisha’s can help children with critical illnesses live a meaningful life.
With her wish granted, Trisha can now be more independent and can explore the great outdoors and as well as communicate with her peers. An immense thank you to FUTU/Moomoo for making such a great contribution to the quality of life for Trisha.
