China’s AI chip alternative
$Intel(INTC.US$ Although being the largest semiconductor company in terms of revenue , Intel’s share price was rather lumpy and subdued, eventhough during 2020-2021 when the entire industry was booming up .
US’s restrictions on $NVIDIA(NVDA.US$ for selling the A800 AI chip to China , presents an opportunity for Intel.
Intel grabbed the opportunity by launching the Gaudi2 AI Chip that meet the US export rules , as an alternative for Chinese companies to obtain the high performance computing module.
