STD0313 : Bitcoin has almost become the index for crypto. If the Dow and the Nasdaq go down what happens to most stocks trading in those indexes? They go down.
As far as equities moving with BTC, I think you will find that the ones that move with BTC are engaged in mining the coin or have large positions in the coin.
