FAQ: Protect yourself from being approached by suspicious users
Recently, some of my friends have been talking about Add Friends requests from strangers with no account opening, trading or deposit history. While the private chat function is great, it also opens up the possibility for scammers to look for potential victims this way. You are encouraged to change your settings to protect yourself from being approached.
Me > Settings > Community Settings > Add Friends or
Me > Settings > Chat > Add Friends
People with a lit Account Badge have submitted identification documents to open a trading account with moomoo. Badges can be viewed by going to a member’s homepage and clicking on the badges displayed below the member’s nickname. The badges for account opening are shown under Highlight Moments > Investment Journey.
People with Funds Deposit or a lit Trading Badge means those who have deposited funds or traded with moomoo.
