Can a Tesla really drive itself? Will it work in Malaysia? ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ
For Malaysian, here are some details:
The Tesla configurator for Malaysia is now live, revealing the pricing for the Tesla Model Y ahead of its brand launch on July 20, 2023. Available add-ons include various paint options (RM5,000-RM10,000), interior color (RM5,000), wheel upgrade (RM10,000), Enhanced Autopilot (RM16,000), and Full Self Driving (RM32,000).
Cars can be pre-ordered with a non-refundable RM1,000 fee, with estimated delivery in early 2024. The Model Y is available in three specifications: RWD (RM199,000), Long Range AWD (RM246,000), and Performance AWD (RM288,000).

Can Tesla drives itself on the road?
Tesla cars come with Autopilot, offering automatic steering, acceleration, and braking, as well as other safety features. The Enhanced Autopilot, available for an additional RM16,000, includes features like Navigate on Autopilot, Auto Lane Change, Autopark, and Smart Summon, although it's unclear if the latter will work in Malaysia.
The Full Self-Driving (FSD) package, which is still in Beta and requires active driver supervision, costs RM32,000. It will continually evolve via software updates but will require regulatory approval to be truly autonomous.
What do you think of this? Are you excited to sit in a Tesla? I canโ€™t wait to try it out, let me know what do you think!
