LUCID production/delivery numbers …
It’s not that they are not good enough: they are simply DISATROUS.
They had a target of 20k cars for 2022 and they reduced it to 14k for 2023, but it will be much if they can sell 6-7k in the whole year…
Is it already GAME OVER or the Saudis are going to support it no matter what ?
In my opinion there is ONLY ONE logic solution : a merge with RIVIAN.

ZnWC : I doubt Rivian will merge with the sinking ship, Lucid given that Rivian is still having net loss. Perhaps Amazon may buy over Lucid as it has a partnership to build 100,000 electric van by 2030.
The other possibility is BYD buy over Lucid because it is the easiest way to enter EV market in US.
RDK79 ZnWC: Why would Rivian merge with a super expensive sedan EV product that can’t sell?
ZnWC RDK79: I agree with you the merge is unlikely.
TeslaSmurfOP : There are four reasons:
- the Saudi’s MONEY
- the mid size SUV project Lucid has ready-to-go
- a new factory under construction
- supply, technology and manufacturing merger would take faster to savings and scale economies.
I CAN BE WRONG, of course
