Not too difficult to guess the CPI
After a year of aggresive rate hike , coupled with the generally slow down in economic activities , the inflation rate seems not to go down as expected .
no matter what, we are seeing light in the end of the tunnel , with this month’s CPI , i believe the FED may stop raising Fed fund rate , afterall , the rate hike also take some time like up to 3-6 months to see the full effect to kick in .
In medical field , doctors were taught to treat the patient , not treat the lab test result
For Fomc , solely rely on past economic data and figures will not be working perfectly as well , need to infuse a dose of common sense.
