Onward As One with Sheng Siong

I chose Sheng Siong as a local brand in Singapore as this supermarket chain is nearest to my place. I shop and or window shop at Sheng Siong almost everyday.
Sheng Siong is founded by Lim Hock Chee, a humble guy who used to stay in a HDB, now upgraded to landed property.

Just like any other supermarkets, Sheng Siong offers a wide range of products; from fresh produce to staples to household essentials, groceries and a wide assortment of beverages.

Why Sheng Siong?
Low Cost - Even though the fresh produces are imported mostly from Malaysia, I find them quite cheap as compared to other supermarket brands

PG Discount - 4% discount on every Tuesday and Wednesday for senior citizens
Bank of China - 6% rebate
Customer service - The staff are all very nice and friendly towards their customers. Even if the staff are rude, sometimes you will hear some Vietbu shouting dunno what, I do not care as long as it is cheap.
QR Code - Any Healthier Choice logo you purchased, you will get points from the QR code after purchased.
As I do not have health buddy app, some kiasu aunties will be spotted nearby the paying counter, waiting for people who do not need the QR code to collect points to redeem bubble tea etc.

This supermarket chain also have their programmes which is aired on every Saturday nights called "The Sheng Siong Show". 缤纷万千在昇菘百倍百倍百倍
