Shares sunk to their third straight day of losses and a three-month low on Friday as investors worried hot US jobs data will force the US Federal Reserve to lift interest rate again on July 26.
On the day the $S&P/ASX 200(.XJO.AU$ dropped 121.1 points, or 1.7 per cent to 7042.3 points for its lowest close since March 28 when it closed at 7034.1 points. For the week it finished down 2.2 per cent.
