The need for more advanced chips is going to presist as the demand for super chips in the AI movement is under way. I believe all chip manufacturers are poised to see gains, as the demand will be driven by the restructuring of the required infrastructure. Intel is being improperly ran, and AMD is slightly ahead. Intel's revenues are greatly generated from the sale of PCs, which has declined post the Covid era where consumers invested/purchase a great deal of electronics/robotics and companies pivoted to upgrade their operating systems in order to overcome challenges. By re-enventiing their operations, manufactures maximize production/output with less physical employees. Intel has been trimming inventory and looking to re-envent itself after hitting near bottom. Our nation can't continue to depend on TSM and other foreign chips manufacturers, this topic should be seen as an urgency to national security. In order to sustain our economy in a progressive trajectory and not depend on the foreign production of chips. This administration has made some adjustments, from complete dependency on foreign chips, but a lot more progress is required to place us back at the forefront of the spear. Intel and others like Micron and AMD are making strives in that direction, expanding factory production, but that progress will take a few years to get the ball rolling. More needs to be made by our nation to aliviate our dependency on foreign chips/governments. The lack of in-house talent and infrastructure with Amercan chip manufacturers is one of our downfalls where we have lost grap of own destiny. Overall the chip sector will continue to grow, it would be savvy for us to concentrate on quality over quantity when dealing with chips. We must not forget about the shovels and piks companies that go hand in hand with this movement, as there are gains to be made there too. Nvidia stock, is just too high at the time, I'm actually looking to sale some of my NVDA and get some positions in Intel and AMAT which are more affordable.
