BYD May 2023 NEV Sales 240,220 U Export 10,203 U (4.25%) PHEV 119,489 U (48.73%)
BYD May 2023 Sales revealed the followings:
BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) Sales: 49.80% (119,630 units)
PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) Sales: 49.73% (119,489 units)
Commercial NEV Sales: 0.47% (1128 units)
NEV Oversea Sales: 4.25% (10,203 units)
BYD NEV delivery relies heavily on domestic market (China) - export fell 31.49% compared to previous month. It also depends heavily on PHEV to push up sales. Based on InsideEVs, China-made Tesla May 2023 EV exported 77,695 units up from previous month - have not included EV sales from US and Europe.

天王蓋地虎 : Don't tell me BYD, because the vast majority of it is sold dual kinetic cars, pure electric cars it pressure but Tesla. So comparing total sales of two houses doesn't make sense.
ZnWCOP 天王蓋地虎: I totally agree with you. They're still many who didn't know. Study shown that PHEV has low range battery and owner seldom charge their car due to distance anxiety. Hence PHEV owners usually powered their car by gasoline. PHEV should not be considered as pure EV. Tesla only produces BEV.
