2023 Half-Year Recap: Impressive mooers & moments in the Moo community
As we approach the midpoint of 2023, it's a perfect time to take a moment and reflect on some impressive mooers and moments over the past six months! In such a large and vibrant community where mooers proactively share their knowledge, insights, and stories, we may not be able to cover every memorable moment in one post. @iamiam shares daily updates with valuable analysis every morning before the stock market opens, and his dedicated followers have taken notice. One of his followers, @warrior-sailormoon, left a comment under the Jan 8 post saying "I can't stop myself but read it again n again n again". Maybe you'd like to know more about @iamiam's updates, too.
@bullrider_21 frequently delivers in-depth analysis, serving as an informative and engaging resource for community members. In Feb, he gave a detailed overview of two types of analysis in the post Fundamental vs. Technical Analysis. Which is better? "Great article as usual Bull. Thanks bud." said @Dons hobby after reading it.
@SpyderCall possesses a keen ability to capture market news and information and is highly skilled as a full trader. He generously shares his technical analysis knowledge with the community, summarizing many aspects of technical analysis that more than one hundred members have appreciated.
During Women's History Month, two female investors in our community, @MooMamaLlama, and @AmyNic, shared their personal experiences on the live show Women & Investing, showcasing the power of women and revealing a new perspective on the investing community. @Nanari expressed her appreciation for what she learned from these ladies. What did you learn?
On April Fools' Day, @doctorpot1 humorously posted that he's going to retire today with USD$27.7 million, all thanks to a big bet on BABA! While the post brought laughter to the community, it also inspired mooers to dream big and aim for their financial goals.
Towards the end of April, @Cow Moo-ney created a video tutorial explaining options, which received high praise from many community members. Mooers found the tutorial easy to understand and highly informative, making it a valuable resource for learning about options trading.
In May, @JM investor announced that he welcomed a new baby into his family this year, and many community members expressed their congratulations and well wishes to him and his family. Let's wish the baby would grow up in happiness and joy! ![]()
Another good news in May was that moomoo expanded to Malaysia! During the welcoming event, @Dadacai warmly welcomed the newcomers by generously sharing his experience on moomoo and offering tips to new members. Helpful as always!
The big news for June must be the unveiling of Apple's latest product, the Vision Pro, at WWDC 2023! The community is buzzing with excitement and curiosity about whether this new product could revolutionize our homes. A poll initiated by @CasualInvestor asking "Will you pay for one 🥽" received 112 responses in early voting, with 66% voting "No. Too costly for me 🙅♀️". What's your opinion on this?
Aside from the monthly highlights mentioned above, we've been releasing Mooers' Stories throughout the first half of the year.
