The Australian sharemarket climbed for a seventh day, bolstered by gains in energy, real estate and financials.
The $S&P/ASX 200(.XJO.AU$ closed up 0.9 per cent to 7,357.80, its highest closing pricing since April 20. All 11 sectors advanced except for health care.
Fund manager $Magellan Financial Group Ltd(MFG.AU$ was the ASX's best performing stock, rallying 5.8 per cent, bolstered by buoyant markets.
$Lake Resources NL(LKE.AU$ was the worst performer, diving another 19.7 per cent. The stock yesterday slumped 20 per cent after its lithium project in Argentina was delayed by six years.
