Advanced Micro Devices on Tuesday announced artificial intelligence-focused advancements and offerings. The Data Center and AI Technology Premiere, led by CEO Lisa Su, introduced various innovations, including the AMD EPYC Bergamo processors and Instinct MI300 accelerators.
Su emphasized the growing market opportunity for AI, driven by large language models, which could see the total addressable market reach approximately $150 billion by 2027, up from the current $30 billion.
$Palantir(PLTR.US$ shares rose by 2.24%, closing at $16.00. Its options trading volume is 0.4 million. Call contracts account for 74.0% of the whole trading volume. $Oracle(ORCL.US$ stock climbed to record highs Tuesday, while C3. ai, Palantir Technologies, and other AI-focused stocks also were given a boost after the enterprise software company reported strong earnings.
BofA Securities analyst Mariana Perez maintained Palantir with a Buy rating and raised the price target from $13 to $18. Palantir shares have been trending higher over the last month and hit new 52-week highs last week on the back of several price target increases.
Jefferies raised the price target on Palantir from $10 to $14 and Goldman Sachs raised its price target from $9 to $10. Palantir also announced several new deals last week including a contract from the US Special Operations Command worth up to $463 million and an agreement with Panasonic Energy of North America in which the company will use Palantir's Foundry platform to integrate edge sensors, introduce automated efficiencies and enable users to leverage connected operations.
$Altria(MO.US$ shares climbed 0.51%, closing at $45.76. Its options trading volume is 0.39 million. Call contracts account for 93.9% of the whole trading volume. The most traded calls are contracts of $45 that expire on June 16th. The total volume reaches 120,186 with an open interest of 16,311. The most traded puts are contracts of a $45 strike price that expires on June 16th; the volume is 7,760 contracts with an open interest of 12,493.
Unusual Stock Options Activity
