Scrip or cash dividend

$UOB Kay Hian(U10.SG)$ I am new on this. @Moomoo Buddy can help me understand for example, cash dividend is S$12 vs scrip dividend is S$1.237@9 units=S$11.13. what happen to the S$0.87 difference if choose scrip dividend?
