This time, we invite all of you to predict how metal funds will perform in May based on public data and market trends. Let's vote for the fund with the greatest potential and share your insights to win rewards!

Background
Recently, the global financial market has been volatile, leading to fluctuations in the prices of precious metals, which are often considered "safe-haven assets." The banking crisis initially caused market risk aversion and boosted precious metal prices. However, when the US non-farm payrolls exceeded expectations, the prices of precious metals fell.
During the latest FOMC meeting, a "hawkish pause" was signaled, indicating that there will be a pause in interest rate hikes at the next meeting. Additionally, the latest CPI Index reached a record low after 10 straight months of decline, which has increased market expectations for an end to interest rate hikes.
According to a well-known Forex recent report, gold will retain its appeal due to uncertainties surrounding global economic recovery and rising inflationary pressures. Jerry Chan also pointed out that the previous cyclical transition phases (2000, 2006, 2018) between the Fed's rate hikes to rate cuts have all been the start of a gold bull market.
However, Powell has indicated that there are unlikely to be any cuts in interest rates this year, which has made many investors cautious about investing in precious metals.
