Really hope can hold its current price or more until intraday, Monday. If so, look at insane potential! With such large gap up, NUMEROUS daily & weekly crossovers would occur. HALT UP HALT UP HALT UP

$GSI Technology(GSIT.US)$ If your trying to learn the essential basics of how and what moves a stock/ the market I highly recommend reading this topic. Everything written here is basic and easy to understand, and very essential to being able to understand how to start reading a chart like a book and getting a feel for which direction things are heading at any given time. No one can ever truly predict exact movement like a crystal ball, but it’s like being a weatherman in the 1970s, you can predict an overall forecast of it
The movement of $CBOE Volatility S&P 500 Index(.VIX.US)$ (“financial instrument”of volatility ) will be the number one thing to look at this coming Monday. We are at the point where it may test another low/bottom support, if that is the case it can create extremely volatile movement for specific stocks that are set up for it….aka alot of runners…. If it is not going to test low, there is a good chance. Volatility could be moving up up up. It’s literally one or the other. Normally as VIX start moving upward, the price of stocks, move downward however, there are many scenarios in which this can create big upward swings also, a stock has to literally be set up specifically on the chart for such ability.
or those of you that do not know exactly what a crossover is, it’s when smaller timeframe moving average crosses up and over one another. Throughout intraday, it is the crossing over and the crossing under a moving averages on smaller time, scale charts that cause price movement up and or down.
Moving averages are an “indicator” I recommend always having on. They are the most basic mechanic of chart, movement, and very easy to understand. Using them you can pretty much see if or when the price of a stock will change/able to see the overall potential of a star, depending on how far away certain moving averages are from crossing one another, etc. Breakouts occur in a stark when numerous moving averages are being crossed simultaneously throughout the different time scale charts… That’s what causes a big burst upward in price… Or downward in price when the smaller time frame moving averages cross under longer scale. for example, the 5-day crossing under the 10 as opposed to crossing over it would cause price to decline.
as you can see from the top image, the orange line, the 5-Day MA has yet to cross the light blue 250 dayMA, the yellow 500, etc. Crossing these on the daily scale, create an enormous pop. We have a whole other story for the weekly scale… That’s where the serious moves come in.

if the red 120 day MA on weekly scale crosses under the light blue 250 MA at intraday open, expect volatility to test bottom abain, which would be great and would likely mean we could see volatility, heading downward continuously for a while.

as you can see in final photo, GSIT likes when VIX is on a decline…… the bigger, swing down word of volatility, the bigger the move upward for GSIT
