BYD may be about to overtake Tesla. The company recently reported a 368% jump in quarterly earnings, to USD0.21 a share, on a 66% increase in sales, to USD17.5 billion.
Analysts expect BYD to grow earnings by 42% this year and another 26% in 2024. This year, Wall Street forecasts Tesla’s earnings to decline by 18%.
Cathie Wood is also a BYD shareholder. BYD constitutes a 1.82% weighting in her $ARK Autonomous Technology & Robotics ETF(ARKQ.US$ .

72734102 : The so called sales numbers aren’t real! They reflect delivery numbers to dealer who then puts out on lot in hopes of selling! Tesla is better value! With less overhead! How? No 7 billion advertisement fees! No Dealer middleman to PAY, which lowers customers bang for their buck! It’s quite simple Tesla gives more value fof less money
