Tesla’s PRICE policy
$Tesla(TSLA.US$ Analyst are still staggered as they can’t understand WHY is Tesla making such discounts on the best selling EVs IN THE WORLD. They can’t understand that, differently from all the other car companies that respond to a board and to shareholders whose main interest is the price of the stock in the short time, Tesla is guided by one man with a specific target: the ICE car market (not directly interested in the competition with other EV makers). So, they first sold the “novelty” electric cars to the public willing to pay 65K for the best EV, now the want to sell much more, they are ramping up factories with a possible production capacity of four million cars, and about to build the mexican 4 million Gigafactory. Now they will sell the same cars (now -30% cheaper to produce) to the public whose wallets span from 45 to 55K. Then the “mexican” 25 to 35K car will arrive in 2025.
The Cybertruck will, again, take the money from those with a 65+ wallet
What does all that mean ?
It means long term vision, assuring that no one else will keep up with that kind of tech innovation and manufacturing capabilities. Will it be negative for the stock price and for profits ? Not at all, as soon as the public (and the analysts) understand and elaborate what is going on.
