BIDU Sues Apple and Others for Frauds Pretending as Non-existent Official App of Ernie Bot
BIDU currently does not have any official app for its artificial intelligence product Ernie Bot.
Baidu AI's WeChat official page has issued a statement saying that all the Ernie Bot apps seen in the App Stores of Apple and other providers are fake. All "paid downloads", "paying members" and "internal test activation codes" for Ernie Bot are frauds.
Baidu stated that it has filed a lawsuit against Apple and the related developer teams in Beijing Haidian People's Court, and published a picture of its court filing in the statement to show that the lawsuit has been filed.
