Free Buffet mindset is part of my shareholder mindset 🤣🤣
Back in 2022 when I left my job (Celebrating 3 months of leaving toxic job environment without another job lined up, yet it is fine), I had 9 months of free and easy time to attend all AGM and get to review their buffet spread ![]()

However, I started my new role in March, ending my 9 month long hiatus. So, I won't be able to attend AGM to review them any more ![]()

Recently, there have been a slew of AGM that is happening and I have to give them all a miss ![]()

$Olam Group(VC2.SG$'s EGM is held in MBS which probably have some good food, and I won't be a part of it ![]()

$PARAGONREIT(SK6U.SG$ mentioned that they won't have buffet but only serve water, so mehhhhh... probably won't go to their AGM ever ![]()

$CapLand China T(AU8U.SG$ and $CapLand IntCom T(C38U.SG$ are holding their AGM at Raffles City Convention Center. Previously, $SGX(S68.SG$ held their AGM there too, and only coffee and tea is served. So I'm guessing I won't missed out big time on this one ![]()

$ManulifeReit USD(BTOU.SG$ is holding their AGM at NTUC Center. Not at a grand hotel so probably won't have amazing buffet too. So missing this AGM probably isn't that bad ![]()

$Keppel(BN4.SG$ is holding their AGM at Suntec. Since they had huge profit last year, maybe they might have amazing buffet spread and I won't get to eat it ![]()

Since I can't join their AGM so the only thing I can do as a diligent shareholder is to mail in my votes, and then get back to work ![]()

In a bear market, having a job is a guaranteed way to earn money, so missing a buffet or 2 isn't a big deal I guess ![]()

Now with a monthly salary, I will have more firepower every month to buy more SG stocks, so that hopefully when I retire, I can eat free buffet everyday... oh I mean playing a vital role as a shareholder ![]()

In this uncertain environment, I hope that no one will be retrenched ![]()

Having a job does help a lot especially in a recession. Bad times don't last, so let's get through it together, and we will party together when the economy gets better ![]()

but I heard moo moo is exploring allowing us to link our own CDP account with them. if they allow it, then next time will get invited liao

TLim77 : Mapletree REITs AGMs coming up. Hopefully they won't be cheapos like Capitaland, Keppel and Paragon REITs that stopped the free vouchers and food during AGMs. Can reward directors with fee increment but remove shareholders incentive.
Kudos to Suntec and Frasers Reits for keeping up with the tradition this year.
