The rivalry between $PepsiCo(PEP.US)$ and $Coca-Cola(KO.US)$ never seems to get old.
Most consumers will pick a side, and maybe investors as well.
Even the legendary investor Warren Buffett is on team Coca-Cola.
But as for me, I would be on team PepsiCo.
Here's why
1. Stabler topline growth

Both Pepsi and Coca-Cola are one of the world's biggest food and beverage companies. Growth has reached a certain size where they are more likely to be stable than fast growing.
In terms of consistency of growth, I realized that PepsiCo has been much more consistent compared to Coca-Cola.
2. Much more diversified portfolio
Why PepsiCo could be better than Coca-Cola for an investment?
Most people are aware that Pepsi is the soft drink brand under PepsiCo. But not many people are aware that Frito Lay's, Quaker, Tropicana, Doritos, and Cheetos are also part of the brands under PepsiCo.
PepsiCo has strong brands under snacking, beverages, and also convenience foods.
3. Better growing dividends per share

PepsiCo's track record in paying out growing dividends has surpassed Coca-Cola's over the past 10 years.
Meaning to say, a PepsiCo investor's dividend per share would have grown at a faster rate compared to Coca-Cola for the last 10 years.
That said, that does not mean Coca-Cola isn't a good investment.
It's just that right now, I think PepsiCo is better.
