Unlock chat and messaging power: a step-by-step guide

Have you been wondering where all the awesome chat groups or friends are? Look no further. We're here to help you get started with moomoo's instant messaging feature.

Moomoo's chat features enable users to communicate with other traders and investors in real time. You can use the chat to share trading ideas, discuss market trends, and connect with others sharing similar interests.

1. After you're logged in, go to the moomoo homepage.

2. Above the top navigation bar, you'll see a "Messages" icon (speech bubble) on the top right.

3. Tap the icon.

4. A page with four tabs will open. The fourth tab is the "Chats" tab. Click it.

5. Now you too can chat, view contacts, search and connect with other users, and join or create chat groups.

Click on the "Contacts" icon. You can then select a single contact or several contacts.

Note: following a user is not the same as adding them to your "Contacts". To follow a user, you need to click the "Add Friend" icon next to the "+ Follow" icon on the user's profile page or search for his/her name.

Click the "Search" icon or the "Plus" icon under the "Chats" tab and choose "Join Group."

To find a group with a common theme or topic, enter a keyword related to the topic you're looking for (e.g. "stocks," "options," "investing," etc.) and moomoo will automatically show a list of related groups.

Tap on any group to learn about its topic. Join the groups that match your interests.

If you know the name of the group, simply scan the group's QR code to join.

To create a new chat group:

1. Located under the "Chats" tab, tap the "Plus" icon in the top right corner and choose "Create Group."

2. Select group members from existing contacts.

3. You can edit the group information on the top right. You can change the group name, edit the introduction, add a group photo, and more. Choose whether you want to keep your group public or private and determine if there are requirements to join.
