So Warren Buffett said that $Bitcoin(BTC.CC)$ is Rat Poison. He may have hit the nail on the head with that though for other reasons.
Bitcoin is counter to everything centric banking is about. It's deflationary, can't be shut down, no bailouts required, makes the owner of bitcoin their own banker and cuts out the middle man. It's doesn't ask for trust nor will there ever be a need for trust.
