Company Profile
The main business of Guizhou Maotai Liquor Co., Ltd. is the production and sale of Maotai Liquor and a series of liquors. In 1951, the Guizhou Provincial Monopoly Company Renhuai County Maotai Liquor Factory was officially established.
In 1955, the local state-run Maotai Distillery was renamed Guizhou Maotai Distillery.
In 1999, Guizhou Maotai Liquor Co was established.

Business Segment
In the first three quarters of 2022, the company achieved operating revenue of 89.786 billion yuan, up 16.52% year-on-year. The net profit attributable to the company's mother was RMB 44.4 billion, up 19.14% year-on-year. The company's revenue sources are mainly alcoholic products, of which Moutai achieved revenue of 74.4 billion yuan, and other wine products had revenue of 12.540 billion yuan. Products
Guizhou Maotai's revenue sources are mainly Maotai wine and a series of wines. In the first half of 2022, the base wine production of Maotai wine was 42,500 tons, and the base wine production of a series of wines was 17,000 tons.
Among the Maotai wines, the most famous is Feitian Maotai, a 53-degree sauce-type liquor with an annual production of about 50,000 tons.
Because of the high price of Maotai wine, a more affordable series of wines was born in this context, the first of which was Moutai Prince Wine, born in 1999. It is also a 53-degree soy sauce type liquor, but the difference with Feitian Maotai is that the raw materials and production process are different and more straightforward.
Moutai Yingbin, Han Sauce, Moutai 1935, etc., are also 53 degrees of soy sauce-type liquor, but the price and brand power are worlds apart from Flying Moutai.
Moutai is irreplaceable mainly because it has a unique geographical origin to protect the irreproducible microbial flora, unique brewing process, and long-term storage of base wine resources. For example, Flying Maotai must store for over five years, but Yingbin wine has about one or two years of storage time.
