AI next level - Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)
ChatGTP has gone viral. Which fund will ride the wave ?
In my previous post, I mentioned that
3 great inventions are converging:
i) Quantum computer
ii) 6G Network
iii) Artificial Intelligence
In the near future (probably next year), we may be able to combine the above to develop Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) - a machine that is capable of understanding the world like human.
The following companies may ride the AI wave:
1. $Microsoft(MSFT.US$ - build AI based on the same foundation as ChatGPT into Microsoft Bing, Edge, Microsoft 365 and other products
2. $Alphabet-C(GOOG.US$ - lanuch Bard, a conversational AI chatbot powered by LaMDA to be integrated into its search capabilities
3. $Baidu(BIDU.US$ - launch a ChatGPT-style service called "Wenxin Yiyan" in Chinese or "ERNIE Bot" in English
4. $NVIDIA(NVDA.US$ - combines GPUs with its CUDA programming language, algorithms, libraries, and other software” to enable GPUs to be much more performant and personalized
5. $Tesla(TSLA.US$ - FSD (full self driving) EV which uses AI technology is maturing faster than expected, reaching AGI level. Tesla announce Robotaxi (Self driving taxi) to mass produce in 2024. I hope Elon can revealed more on Investor Day (1 March 2023).

TeslaSmurf : I partially agree. I mean, the roadmap is clear: someone has the leadership in AI chat and text understanding, someone in voice/reading. Tesla has the leadership in physically modelling reality from optical view (like us humans) and react. There are many forms of applied intelligence that need to “converge” as you wrote, BUT, what is still lacking is the “theoretical “ intelligence and the “emotional” intelligence (life experience… learning hardness ?) What else ?
I think we will soon have some kind of powerful AI, still WAY less emotional than my dear dog….
Is that to fear ?

Probably sooner than most people expect.
