we need a diversified portfolio..

have you heard the news that so and so reaped huge gains from energy sector last year.. and hey, my colleagues are betting it all on healthcare sector this year.. did you get in on the action for the recent tech recovery... do you have financials, REITs in your portfolio...

there is always something new in the news you read everyday.. and everyone seems to have a different opinion about investing.. have you gotten tired of chasing the wind?

truth be told, tho a particular sector may do better than another.. it takes more than a genius to always pick the winners year after year..

what we can do better is to construct a diversified portfolio so you can reap the gains of the market growth while protecting the downside when your bet goes wrong..

so yes, it can be consumers, financials, tech, energy etc. just need to make sure you have each of them in your balanced diversified portfolio and you will always have the winners...
