An American-multinational automotive and clean energy company
Established in July 2002 (20 years young company)
The founders are Martin Eberhard &; Mark Tappenning; not Mr. Musk
In February 2004, after an investment of 6.5 million dollars, Musk became Tesla's largest shareholder; when he slowly joined Tesla.
This is the money he received when Paypal was sold to eBay, and his board of directors at Paypal and eBay were replaced in the process.
The name of the company is a tribute to the inventor, Nikola Tesla. It's saddening, isn't it?
It was listed on the Nasdaq opening in June 2010 at $17.
In 2009, a year after Tesla's first electric sports car went on sale, both founders were pushed out of the company by Musk.
Let's say he copied & pasted the secret strategy he used on Paypal to the founder of Tesla.

Tesla Q4 2022 - Revenue Breakdown
If you look closely, you'll notice that it's not true that Tesla's electric car brought unemployment benefits.
It was an improvement in “energy production and storage” of up to 90%. Revenue increased month-on-month to $1.31 billion. However, the company's energy sector's revenue costs were very high, with $1.15 billion in the fourth quarter.
Next is “Services and More”. Vehicle repairs outside the warranty period, which include the costs listed below, amounted to $1.6 billion in the fourth quarter of 2022, among other items. Do you think this is a “good” sign for electric car owners??

Tesla — is it both a good price and a good company?
Let's do an important autopsy.
Tesla's Model 3 & Model Y, which targets extreme price cuts recently, is positioned to benefit from the US “Inflation Reduction Act” (IRA) incentives for domestic production. Buy an all-electric vehicle in 2023.
Does this mean that Mr. Musk doesn't have confidence in the electric cars he makes?
Does the price reduction mean that the Model 3&Y is not worth its value based on the original “price tag”?
Does the price drop mean Musk is trying to avoid competition by keeping prices extremely low? Does this count as “dumping” in the deal?
As of this morning (January 31), its share price has risen to $166.66 per share. Are a lot of gamblers making short-term profits there?

Tesla — Vehicle gross profit margin of declining earnings for 5 consecutive quarters
What does the declining automotive gross margin over the past 5 quarters mean for investors?
Will this be a “continuously upgraded” gross margin of automobiles? Negative peak in 2023 “sharp drop in electric vehicle prices?
April 2023 should know the results Q1 2023 followed by the earnings report. Will it be too late by then?

Tesla Analyst Assessment
On January 25, 2023, Ross Capital analyst Craig Owen gave Tesla a target price of $85a shares and a “hold” status. Its current price of $160.27 (as of January 26, 2023) is way overestimated.
Even Musk himself admitted on the earnings call for the fourth quarter of 2022 that Tesla's headwinds are expected to come from Chinese electric vehicle manufacturers.
In addition to giving airtime to rivals, most people are sure he is referring to the electric car manufacturer BYD (Warren Buffett also has a minority stake through Berkshire Hathaway).
