Why would anyone go into a war conceding defeat against the enemy’s broken, Achilles heel, artillery; while fighting near invisible foot soldiers?

Hedge funds’ broken artillery, their Achilles heel, is share borrowing, it is a false ruse, it does nothing to cover their liabilities for failing to deliver the shares they took money for. All shorts are naked. This is patently clear.
