Scratch. Wampum. Dough. Sugar. Clams. Loot. Bills. Bones. Bread. Bucks. Money. That which separates the haves from the have-nots. But what is money? It's everything if you don't have it, right?

Is it simply an agreed-upon unit of exchange for goods and services? $3.70 for a gallon of milk? Thirty bucks to cut your grass? Or, is it an intangible? Security or happiness - peace of mind. Let me propose a third option. Money as a measuring device. Money is, at its essence, that measure of a man's choices.

We have to be willing to look at money for it’s positive qualities.
We also have to see the destructive emotions, it may spark.
It is important to understand the difference between money and value.
Money is nothing more than paper and coin. Value is the importance, we give to those things.
In itself, money isn't valuable. We give it value.
Money doesn't make us valuable; we make money valuable.
Money, despite the popular cliche, is not the root of all evil.
Nope. Money is what waters the roots of both good and evil.
If you're evil to begin with, then money will make you more evil.
If you're good to begin with, then you can use money to do good.
In other words, I believe money illuminates who we really are.
Because money holds no value. We are the ones who give it value.
Hence, we control the value of our money, not the other way around.
