How can US stocks apply for an exemption from dividend tax?
This is really a big question. Isn't it possible to exempt the 30% dividend tax on US stocks by stating the W8 form when opening an account according to reason?
If the 30% dividend tax is deducted every time, there is no point in bidding for popular bidding.
Have you experienced similar problems?
Is there any way to avoid it? Who can help answer that question? Thank you so much!

sTone83 : Singapore passport? PR?
sTone83 LazyslobOP: Chinese passports should be withheld 10%, because the bilateral trade agreement between China and the US is 10%, and other countries require 30%. Go ask customer service
