whqqq : You can know what you own til the cows come home. To derive any future price information you’d also need to know a slew of yet-to-happen macroeconomic factors: forward path of interest rates, equity risk premium, industry competitive landscape, medium-term regulatory environment…someone could be the founder of the company, President of the country, and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and still not be able to know what the future value of an equity claim on a company will be at a given future date.
