Tesla Price Cuts: Short-Term Bad, Long-Term Good
The US is finally cutting prices too! Unfortunately, it's still much more expensive than China.
As soon as the market opened in the morning, I saw news of the price reduction, so I quickly bought back 1% of the reduced position on Wednesday. As a result, just like the last time China cut prices, it opened low and went high.
At present, S&P has reached a watershed. Whether it will rise or fall is not easy to say yet. I wonder if it's gonna be sideways for a few more days![]()
The bear market is not over yet, so why is it rising? I've talked about Davis' double kill before. Kill valuation first, then kill performance. As interest rate hikes come to an end and the valuation phase comes to an end, the bear market takes a break, and a mitigating increase is also reasonable. By the second half, corporate financial reports were thunderous; that was the real bottom.
Investing in bonds is only the first half, not the second half. When interest rates peak and fall, bonds will rise, so I'm bullish on tlt $iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF(TLT.US$
However, investing in bonds is quite boring, so I mainly have a pension full of bonds. The money I have invested is only the first position I hold, which is a bit more than Tesla.
As for when is the second half of the bear market coming? A lot of people think it's the first half of this year, but I don't think it's necessary. I think it will be a little later than most people think. I'm guessing it's the fourth quarter of this year, or even the first half of 2024![]()
