Time to jump off the ARK funds?
$ARK Innovation ETF(ARKK.US$ About 10 months ago I invested 30% of my retirement funds into a total of four ARK funds. To my dismay, I am down 45-63% depending on the fund.
Should I sell now and try some safer investments in 2023 or do you think there is hope for ARK?

TSLA M : Depends whether you are in need of the money or not. Everything is cheap now.. worse case another 20% cut by Jun23. the market wont stay down forever... consider DCA in Q1 following to Q2.. unless u are very certain u can beat the ETF returns or S&P500, NASQ index.. never go individual stock.. unless its TSLA haha

71860595 : you decided to invest in ARK because it was attractive and that was a mistake. opting out would be also a big mistake. Stay and you will recoup some of the loses for sure
SpyderCall : ARK funds are actively traded and a lot of their investments are in those companies that perform poorly in a high interest rate environment. I wouldn't put too much capital into ARK until the fed pivots.
SpyderCall : but if you swing trade the ARK funds at the right time then the ARK ETFs provide nice beta opportunities for better gains than most ETFs. Like during the bear market rallies last year the ARK ETFs provided better gaINS tham the S&P 500.

Revelation 6 : If I already own them i would continue to hold them. They were long positions when you bought them and treat them as such. Easier said than done I know. Just my opinion. Stay far away from crypto. It’s the Wild West and the outlaws are winning.
