Stock market outlook in 2023 - Be hopeful ๐Ÿ˜ธ๐Ÿ˜ผ

Some say this coming recession may be long like the Great Depression in the 1930. Despite its similarities like high inflation and slow economy growth, I think the recession will be short because there are 2 driven forces:
First is the international cooperation like APEC, COP29, BRI (Belt & Road Initiative) etc. More free trade agreements (FTA) are being signed to promote trade which can reduce inflation through supply increase and not hurt economy growth.
Second is break through in research and technology. The last economy boom was caused by new technologies emerge - microchip, internet and telecommunication (4G). We have Pfizer and Moderna vaccines to combat the pandemic thanks to research in mRNA technology after the 2003 SARS outbreak.
Future technology
Some said the next economy boom may be brought about by Digitisation which has already emerged like artificial intelligence, blockchain and quantum computer (processing speed and cybersecurity). I'm sure you've heard of ChatGTP which can write an article in a few seconds and LaMDA Google (Language Model for Dialogue Application) becoming self conscious.
Value stocks
Stock market is forward looking and so must we as investor. There's a Moomoo's lesson: How to pick stock like Warren Buffett? I think we can apply "Learn to Pivot and Change Course" strategy and invest in value stocks. To avoid emotional trading (panic sell or YOLO), I also suggest dollar cost averaging and prepare sufficient emergency fund.
