The price of the new NIO ES8 starts at 458,000 RMB. Li Bin: NIO mobile phones are already in production

December 24, NIO held NIO Day 2022 today to unveil its new model, the new generation NIO ES8.
Li Bin said the new-generation NIO ES8 is not a single-scene vehicle, but is positioned as a full-scene SUV for work, family, socialising and exploring. "Some people ask me when NIO is coming out with an MPV, and this is definitely better than an MPV."
When introducing the new generation of NIO ES8's smart car fridge, Li Bin said it could be controlled remotely via mobile phone, and he specifically mentioned that "NIO mobile phones are already being built."
In terms of pricing, the whole car purchase option is priced at RMB528,000-638,000, while the BaaS battery rental option is priced at RMB458,000-510,000, with a monthly battery fee of RMB980/$1,680 per month.
Deliveries of the new generation of the NIO ES8 will begin in June 2023.
