All is Good... Bring on 2023

Still vividly remember at around Aug this year, passed by a moomoo roadshow and saw the $2 cashback for 30days for $100 deposit into the Fullerton fund. skeptical at first but went on to do my dd and realised that Futu is one of the most established listed company (tbh: the free USD stock helps too)

made my first foray into the stock I have been collecting (medical) and instantly make a small profit (due to the small sum invested) as I started exploring the apps, I realised there is alot of useful functions that encourage learning (I.e. learning to read finical statement to learn points) Along the way, there are alot of moo-mooers who are more experienced and much established investors on the chat. I learnt mostly from thier comments like how to invest during volatile environment or just have a good fun understanding each investments.

What really strike me was that the people behind moomoo have alway come out topics to stimulating my brain and help me to look at things at a different perspective. Although we all have different investment methods, horizon, amplitude, the ultimate goal is to become a better investor and learn from mistake/point from the last investment.

for my 2023 strategy, all my cash is still in one stock (hoping to see bear fruit soon). I will looking at the beaten down sectors like chips (e.g. intel) and services (e.g. amazon). spore stocks like ComfortDelgro, Thomson medical (abit punitive) are under my watchlist as there are essential and there will alway be a demand for their service. Although the loom of recession is near and inevitable, my strategy will be slowly averaging down and collect dividends in bad times and hopefully in good times, they would revert back to their NAV. cheers and have a blessed year ahead.
