TheApeInvestor : The market maker produces however many shares they want and sends them through the dark pool. No buying pressure. They do the same to send the Price Down. Buy in dark pool then sell On open market to send the Price Down and help their leveraged shorts. It works for them because the amount Lost on buying and selling Is much Smaller than the amount they can gain on The Leveraged shorts.
