Jim Cramer says he expects ‘many layoffs’ at companies after Christmas
CNBC’s Jim Cramer on Tuesday predicted that more companies will trim their workforces after the holiday season.
A growing number of companies across industries have curtailed their head counts this year in an effort to control their expenses in a dipping economy.

Revelation 6 : Well it makes sense that they do it. When the Fed comes out and says iit's going to shrink the economy, choke it no less, businesses had to add to the list of government inflicted injuries they have endured at the hands of the Fed. Choking companies with covid restrictions, the great retirement, supply chain issues, social upheaval, raw material shortages, fuel and wage increases, job openings goes unfilled, the great bathroom debate, unemployment abound, PPI, CPI and inflation still high and out of control and finally putting the screws to everyone through higher interest rates and oh yes, higher taxes. And when all that doesn’t work, and it hasn’t to this point, the Fed government comes out and says the only way to get to where they want to go is to increase unemployment, on a larger scale, across the United States. Those business are slimming down early to meet the tighter budgets to come. It makes sense to me that they would be proactive as good leaders and to protect the companies.
