Tesla FSD Beta Autopilot feature open to all paying North American owners
Tesla CEO Musk announced that Tesla's FSD (Full Self-Driving) Beta is now available to all paying North American owners. Tesla FSD Beta began testing in 2020 and was initially available to only a small number of customers and has since been gradually expanded to approximately 160,000 owners.
Tesla FSD Beta costs an additional $15,000 to turn on. The function allows the car to drive itself to the destination entered in the navigation system, but the driver still needs to be alert and ready to take over control.
