Thanksgiving Week Trading Hours: US Stock Market Will Be Closed on Thursday and Will Reopen but Close Earlier on Friday
Hi mooer~
This is a short week on Wall Street. U.S. stock exchanges will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, Nov. 24, and will reopen the next day only for an abbreviated session on Black Friday, with trading ending at 1 p.m. Eastern on Nov. 25. The bond market will closes an hour later at 2 p.m. Eastern on Black Friday.
Heading into the holiday, U.S. stocks were moved higher off expectations that inflation will continue to ease, along with the Fed's signal of slower peace in rate-hike. U.S. Treasury yields have fallen recently, while the spread between yields on 2-year and 10-year Treasury notes continues to widen.
The last holiday of the year will be Christmas Day. The stock market will also be closed on Monday, Dec. 26, in observance of Christmas Day, which falls on a Sunday in 2022.
Hope you and your family enjoy the holiday break
