As for the Thanksgiving season, it's hard this year to be thankful.
@WickedLove
I have lost the last of my family this past two years, became houseless and my health has gone to... a better place it seems. even still I am thankful for my son. hopefully we will be able to make our favorite part of turkey day food... Pie.
We will definitely be gifted with the full voltage of boundless Joys and Blessings.
@HuatLady
I am extremely thankful that I will be sharing this annual meal with my beloved family this year. I look forward to planning and preparing a memorable meal with them. In fact, we don't spend too lavishly on a grand meal, but we will truly find the food appetising.
Thanksgiving is a low key, relaxing and food-filled family celebration.
@Syuee
My family serves stuffed acorn squash, mashed potatoes with cranberry gravy, baked sweet potatoes, my favourite baked apples and a fresh roast pumpkin pie. We also make a turkey for those who expect turkey and a stuffing casserole with traditional oyster stuffing.

Life is not tough at all, it is you would made your life tough.
@meruson
I had many near-death experiences, so after the first one, every day is a gift to me. i wouldn't get to enjoy another 18 years of life extension and still counting. So I am thankful for each new day.
I will still be celebrating a scaled back Thanksgiving
@lastnite24
I had a very loose budget a year ago and much before. However, when inflation hit a certain point, I noticed I really have to keep a budget. The main things to keep control of are food and gasoline.
This is a good time in driving the need to get creative with cutting costs all without sacrificing holiday celebrations.
@KT88
While planning to manage cost savings on sides and desserts, hosting is still a must. To manage cost, my plan is to economise on the sides, look for ways to make the meal less formal or ask guests to bring a side to share.
Let us remember not to waste food on Thanksgiving Day.
@12moon
It is a time for self-reflection and to be grateful for all the goodness we have witnessed and experienced. It is a time to give thanks to the people who have made our lives meaningful and worthy of living.

  • lastnite24 : I wonder if after a year that mostly trended downward (this year) people will change their investment strategy in the coming year.

    There are multiple strategies in the stock market and they can be played in either direction.

    I know shorting is what people will always talk about, but if they were in it for more than a daytrade the contracts typically aren't ideal for a slowly falling market

  • meruson Popular on moomooOP: would you gift your children stocks to teach them delayed gratification and investment?

  • USleepUDie : I am wondering how to trade crypto on moomoo? any beginner guide?
