its going to cost us one way or another

I very much think investing in the 💚 green revolution will save companies and customers money 💰 in the mid to long term if done right. grrenwashing like blue carbon or wishcycling does more harm then good.
I recently noticed the 🏦 banking and 🏠 housing sector start to incorporate data on this to customers. if you go on redfin or realtor.com then they have 💦 flood and 🚒 predictor scores. I'm in the market to buy a new home and will only buy it in a low flood zone. Banks are financially motivated to show this info so they don't get stuck with many defaults in the next 15+ years in America. Allegedly home insurance companies are worried and home insurance may be a privilege only for the rich in our lifetime. Climate change is too expensive for home insurance companies to continue at this pace. source Jesse Keenan, associate professor, Real Estate Tulane University. So this gives me confidence that climate mitigation is needed if the banks and fighting to give consumers climate change risk data. Why else would they do that? Because their loan money is on the line. They are fiscally motivated.
Migrating due to climate change is not cheap either. Interestingly many sectors like 🧺 🚜 will be affected too with more heat in the southern states and some top states like North Dakota may see a benefit to more farmable days in the future. One thing is certain though, having major industries relocate with more unpredictable swings in conditions can't be good for crop yields. source projects.propublica.org/climate-migration
