Giving Back Matters

Yes, I think it's important for companies to give back to the communities, especially large successful companies. Giving back is acknowledging the community who helped a company become successful in the first place.

I also believe companies should only give back to a group of people, or organization that means something to the company itself. There are many who give simply because of the tax write offs, never to be heard from. When a company such a MooMoo publicizes it's intent, they create a platform and bring awareness. Therefore, people get to know the company in a personal way and can align themselves as such. Large successful companies unfortunately bear this responsibility and that's because so much support was given to the company to grow into what it has become.
