Sunday Week Ahead Prep

The week ahead is a very BIG week for the US Stock market and the economy as a whole. The volatility that has been normal recently has made it very hard to know what the market is going to do next. The best way we can try to do that, So that we can still be profitable in times like these, Is to comb through whats happening Here in the US and in the international World markets and Governments.
In My Opinion by searching for oppertunities and gathering as much information as possible, This volatility creates a sort of oppertunity that i believe I will one day miss. The trick is to actually get it down and apply a strict set of rules for myself to follow that can guide my financial journey into the area most only dream of.... I am not there yet. I am still learning and this post is simply a way to share my thoughts and possibly help someone else while simultaniously learning from making the post myself. All of this is MY OPINIONS!

The markets closed out Green for the week last week with the $S&P 500 Index(.SPX.US)$ Closing up 2.93% for last week and the $Nasdaq Composite Index(.IXIC.US)$ Closing up 2.69% for the week. Both closing near their Day highs at the end of Friday.

The news claimed that the markets rose so strongly this last Friday due to comments made by multiple different Central Bank Fed Reserve presidents that suggested they may start to slow their rate of increase to 50 Bps in December rather then the before predicted 75 Bps Interest rate Hikes. Another aspect to also keep in Mind is that the US Treasury Bond 10 year has made a 14 year high this last Friday morning and pulled back to close at a very high 4.228%. Bond Yields and Equities usually have a Inverse Relationship, meaning when one goes up the other goes down and vice versa.
As I mentioned in my Friday Post I personally believe that Monday will be a big Green day in the Over all benchmarks. If youd like to read why you can look at my previous post Here - Friday Outlook -
What will decide what this coming week will be will be Decided by the major companies earnings This week. Most of the Major Weighted companies in the S&P 500 Report Earnings this week and is explained in a very good post by a fellow Mooer @SpyderCall here - Next Tuesday is a Make or Break Moment for the Markets.
I would Highly Recommend reading Spyders Post it certainly gave me a lot of useful information...
Major Earnings Release for Week 10/24/22-10/29/22
Major Earnings Release for Week 10/24/22-10/29/22
My personal Opinion on the coming week is this:
Most of the Major companies earnings are going to be good. I think that this will be our last good earnings Reports we get before we start to really see the impact of the Fed's monitairy tightening and a slow down in the strong Consumer buying (demand)
A lot of these Companies have already released plans to lay off workers in an attempt to prepare for the on coming macro economical headwinds and those press releases have already been priced into the market. (I believe they released the layoffs when they did strategically so that their earnings would not be effected by the news).

I personally See MASSIVE OPPERTUNITY HERE!
I like $Intel(INTC.US)$ and have a Call Option out on it (although i will have to roll it over to a later Expiry date to fully benifit from its earnings....
$Chevron(CVX.US)$
$Southwestern Energy(SWN.US)$
$GE Aerospace(GE.US)$
$Visa(V.US)$
$Microsoft(MSFT.US)$
These are all probably going to have good Earnings IMO and I will be looking into Options Calls on these companies and maybe a few others to make Earnings Plays

$Pinterest(PINS.US)$
$Meta Platforms(META.US)$
$Teladoc Health(TDOC.US)$
I think these companies are not going to do well. Butr I very well could be wrong.
I believe that any of those companies with thi=eir Revenue HIGHLYz reliant on advertising will fall short because most companies are pulling back on their spending and Advertising will surly be part of that.
I might make a Put on Pintrest before they release because I do not think they will report well.

This is the Sector Heat map for Friday 10/21/22. Notice the sectors in the Dark Green, Semi-Conductors, Banks, Oil and Gas.... These are the Sectors in which i will be looking for companies in for this week plays

If we Continue past that resistance on Monday and Tuesday then it may be able to turn that resistance into a Support to bounce off and create a change in trend Confirmation. That Could be the beginning of a Rally towards the End of the year.... I am not saying it will necessarily start a Bear Market Rally like the onle in June and August next Week. But I am saying I see a green week ahead from what I can tell and will be a good indicator of what the next few weeks ahead may look like....

Lastly,
China's President Xi has Secured his role as Ruler of China
Chinese leader Hu Jintao on Saturday was escorted off stage during the closing session of the Communist Party congress. This was Xi's Predesessor and was one of the First things Xi did was remove him.

UK Prime Minister Liz Truss Resigned and the parliment is awaiting the citizens to elect a new Prime Minister.... What I think is funny is that Borris Johnson is a candidate and from what I can tell will likely re-enter the position after resgining in scandle only a few month ago... Just Crazy, But will probably positivly affect the markets...

US Midterms are here and are going to help the markets Erupt for a little bit...

And the ECONOMIC events for this week to look out for:
(I posted this on my last post but I think its worth Reposting the Economic Calendar
MarketWatch Economic Calendar

Thursday and Friday with the GDP first estimate and the real Consumer Spending are two that I am very Interested to see and will also likely effect the markets price action....
