Netflix plans to report its latest results for the quarter ended September 2022 on October 18 after the U.S. markets close! The consensus estimate for revenue is expected at $7.48 billion, indicating a nearly 16.2% YoY growth. The EPS is estimated at $2.57 for this quarter.

The streaming leader’s subscriber growth shall be carefully analyzed, with consumers now having more options for streaming contents. Apple, Amazon, and Disney are all respectable competitors in the streaming market. Netflix Q3 forecast was for one million subscriber growth, compared with 4.4 million added in the last year same quarter. Given Netflix’s maturity, some investors argue its penetration has been approached the peak in the U.S. and Canada. But it's hard to deny there are still potential markets for Netflix to grow outside the North America area, with linear TV replacing by streaming.

Along with the subscriber growth, investors shall also pay attention to the company's guidance on the advertising initiative. Netflix recently announced its plan to launch a cheaper subscription service in November that will feature AD.
