ZnWC : You're not alone. My family doesn't support me to invest in stock too. They think that investment is like gambling and I may lose my principal. I disagree because you can reap profit if you understand the psychology of money and manage your risk. I agree because we are flawed and sometimes make the wrong trade out of fear and greed.
